Concept project

In sportswear development concepts course, aimed at integrating designer aesthetics into our designs, I chose Rick Owens for his distinctive minimalist and avant-garde style. The challenge was to use muslin, a basic yet versatile fabric, to create an ensemble that echoed Owens' raw, sculptural elegance. I designed and crafted a jacket, pants, and a bag, focusing on achieving the monochromatic palette and edgy luxury synonymous with Rick Owens. This project not only tested my skills in pattern making and garment construction but also deepened my understanding of how to embody a brand's identity in fashion design.
